Our Faculty

Our faculty are well rounded, respected teachers who pride themselves on teaching correct dance technique, and providing students with the tools necessary to continuously progress in their dance training. As teachers, we are role models and set the example. If a dance teacher remains positive and supportive they set the bar for what is expected of their students.

Nicole Nickerson, Creative Director

Nicole Nickerson, Creative Director

Creative Director, Nicole Nickerson has been a part of the dance world for 20 years. Her love for dance and teaching shows in her students, inspiring them to be the best dancers and people they can be. Nicole has studied with some of the finest teachers and choreographers throughout the United States and prides herself on sharing her love and knowledge of dance with her students. Since 2001 Nicole has been teaching dance full time. She continues to be a guest teacher at Master Classes and Summer Intensives, at top schools in New England. Nicole continues to study her own dance training by attending dance conventions and seminars. Since she began teaching, Nicole and her competitive students have won many “Overall High Scores”, “Special Judges Awards“, “Overall High Score Choreography Awards“, and “Most Entertaining” Awards. Nicole cares deeply for each and every one of her students; she prides herself on being a kind and nurturing role model.

Jenna McMahon lives in Hampstead with her Husband and three children. She has been teaching dance for the past 18 years.. Jenna has her B.A. in performing arts, is certified by the Dance Teachers Club of Boston, and was an adjunct faculty member for the Dance Department at Bradford College. Professionally, Jenna danced with the modern dance company Karlins & Co. Dancers at the Edge of Time, based out of Newburyport, MA for 5 years. Jenna has been teaching dance and children’s movement classes in MA and Southern NH for many years. As she enters her third season at ADV Jenna is excited to continue doing what she loves most, TEACHING DANCE!

Becky Cook grew up in Daytona Beach, Florida where she began her dance training at age 4. While studying Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, Lyrical, and Pointe she began student teaching at age 16. Along with competing with her dance company, she also attended Florida Dance Master’s scholarship auditions every fall. Getting special awards for her solos for her long legs and elegance. During her first semester of college, Becky was offered a spot on the dance company there. Completing the EMT-B program, getting married, and moving to NH were the next big steps. Becky has been coaching gymnastics in NH for the past 9 years and involved in the dance world for the past 7 years. Her dancers earning Silvers through to High Golds and many Special Awards along the way, she is glad to be doing what she loves… Her passion of dance!

Tina Fosman Tina has been a dance educator for over 20 years. She has always been acknowledged for her versatility and technical aspects in all genres of dance. She has taken most pride in the accomplishments of her students. They have gone on to lead very successful  careers through the art of dance. Many of Tina’s students have gone on to dance in NYC, on cruise ships and in theme parks. Some of her students have also opened up their very own studios, so they too can share  their love and passion for dance. Tina is looking forward to doing the same with many more and can’t wait to instill the love of dance to a new generation.
